Is french pathologist degree recognised in NSW?

Hi guys!

I'm a french clinical pathologist who just arrived in Sydney 6 weeks ago.
I'll stay here for one year or more.
For the moment, I've been working in a giftshop to practice and improve my english but I would like to know if I can work in Australia with my french pathology certificate? In a research lab in a hospital or university?
Have you ever heared about this before?
Where can I get further information?
