Is it a bad idea to ask a professor to write me a LOR if they don't have a PhD?

I want to ask my calculus teacher for a letter of recommendation. I can ask a few different professors with PhDs and in the science field, but does it matter if a non-biology/chemistry professor without an PhD (aka a "lecturer") writes you a letter of rec? Would they put me at a disadvantage or something?

Can someone please give me any advise asap.

Their title shouldn't matter. What matters is how well they know you and if they can attest to your capability of being a strong candidate for a pharmacy school program.

It shouldn't matter, but you should have at least 1 letter from a pharmacist.
