Is it an overkill to do UWorld ABFM questions for FM shelf?

Especially since there's no Step 2 Uworld questions for FM? I know there are Case Files and AAFP; I don't know how many questions they have, but I'm not expecting more than 1000 questions. I will already have finished OB and IM questions on UWorld by my family rotation. I learn by doing questions and would love to do more questions, unless ABFM questions are so far off what's covered on the FM shelf.

So I just found out there are like 1400 questions on AAFP... so that seems pretty good, but still would like to know the answer to above question if I happen to have more time. Can't hurt, right?

I would look over the health maintenance case files for each age group, these few cases seemed to cover a huge proportion of the shelf. I did some of those questions and found some helpful, but others were more at a resident level.

The 1000+ questions on AAFP are geared towards family med boards, so some of the stuff they ask is not applicable to the 3rd year shelf, but I found them helpful. Disclaimer: definitely did not finish all of them, though. They are arranged in sets of 10-20, so I would do a couple of sets when it was a slow day in clinic or to break up the overwhelming boredom of reading case files.

Overboard.

Case Files + AAFP + OnlineMedEd + PreTest (not popular on SDN, but I liked it for FM) was enough for me. AAFP +/- PreTest is more than enough questions, especially if you already did UWorld IM.
