is it bad if you get a high GPA at cc and a low gpa at university?

let say a 3.9 at CC and then a 3.4-3.5 at university. Is it really super bad?

I am anticipating a gpa drop this semester at the university. It is a top 70 university LOL

3.4-3.5 is not that bad. But a drop in gpa will tell them that your cc was easier.

I would think that sort of trend is expected by most adcoms, though the university GPA would be more heavily weighed. Also, 3.4-3.5 is hardly a low GPA and you could easily get interviews to many dental schools given that you have decent DAT scores and EC's.

LOL I thought the general consensus on sdn is that any CC < any university 🙄

Hahaha yea, trust me, I didn't want to. There was a 2-year expiration on my 2010 scores for some of the schools that I wanted to apply to this cycle, so I was forced to retake them this year. It was a huge pain, but I'm just happy I didn't do worse.
