Basically if I can avoid it, I would rather not pay an extra day for the hotel, so would it be possible to leave luggage in the interview office? Is this seen as rude or unprofessional in any way?

A lot of people bring luggage with them to interviews, the school will usually have a place for you to store it for the day. You can always contact the school ahead of time to confirm that they will have a place for you to store it. Good luck on your interviews!

Thank you all for your comments! Just wanted to make sure it was not seen as unprofessional!

Only if you seriously over-pack 😉

And re leaving your luggage "in the lobby" -- There's a designated closet just for those circumstances, so "with the bellman", not just "in the lobby"
