I am enrolling in EMT course this fall. I want to know how effective will it be For premed student to volunteer as EMT for more than year. By the way I am junior and have no volunteer experience and also I am not doing this only for the sake of Med school, I have my personal interest also. But on the other hand I want to use more time in a productive manner to enhance my application .. Will this be productive as amount of time ill be putting ? Thanks in advance

If you have time work full time as an EMT instead of a volunteer EMT. If you really think you need to volunteer as well call up a soup kitchen or volunteer at a hospital or something.
