From what I understand, you obtain a Master's Degree in XX or a Bachelor's Degree in XX. you do not apply to a Masters program, but rather, you apply to a Master's program. I've seen the degree written both ways on schools' websites, so I dunno.

Master's degree should always be written with an 's.
