I reviewed the entire Ochem section in two days...I hope I'm studying right! I'm scoring well on the Kaplan self study test and quizes. Did anyone else find this material basic? I wish I could say that about QR....QR is kicking my behind...

I'm assuming you are studying from the Kaplan book provided by the class. If thats the case, I'd say you are about 70% there. I found the Kaplan book to be a good review of the reactions and such, however I didnt comprehend as much of the material as I did when supplementing with a textbook.

If you can understand the reaction mechanisms (with arrow pushing and everything) I'd say your fine. But I think with Organic, you have to really understand the trends of what happens with what reagent, etc.

I hope this makes sense. The individual subject tests that are in the KAPLAN center are great. Make sure you go through the answers to all problems. Sounds like your on the right track!

Good luck, Tissy!
