Is it necessary to have a LOR from a non-science professor?

I have two letters from two of my science proferssor. I also have a great letter from the coordinator of a national scholarship which I received a year ago in community college [He has PHD in math, and has been the president of the college for three years].
I have also asked my sociology teach to write a letter for me. She is nice, and actually very close to me, but she keeps on postponing it which makes me angry. I have asked her to write the letter for me TWO weeks ago, and reminded her twice, but there is NO NEWS!!! She is supposed to submit it online, and I can see that she has not done that so far.
Do you guys think that having a letter from a non-science professor is necessary, considering that I have already three good letters?

Thank you

it all depends on what your schools want from you. Some may ask for a non-science, but from what i've seen, not many request it. Just check the schools' website to see if they need it or not.

Yes, absolutely check what each school requires. Many are strict and will not budge. Out of the 18 schools I applied to last cycle, Nova was the only school requiring a non-science LOR.

I still don't understand how students are expected to know so many profs?
I think it's wrong to go up to a prof that you've never talked to 1on1 and ask for a Letter. And I don't see why students would be going to talk to profs 1on1 anyways..
