Is it okay to list a future class on AMCAS and then decide not to take it?

This has been asked before, but I just want to make sure it is okay. If I list a class under future classes on AMCAS, am I obligated to take it or notify the schools that I'm not taking it anymore? For example, USC requires Molecular Bio, but I would only take it for that specific school. If I say that I will take Molecular Bio next spring but then don't take it if USC rejects me or I decide to go somewhere else, is this bad? Is it wrong to list a class that I'm planning on taking even if I'm only planning on taking it if I get into a certain school?

I don't think it is a problem. I think people realize that the future isn't set in stone. Personally, the classes that I took were a lot different than the ones I wrote on AMCAS. I didn't do it deliberately... it just worked out that way.

Exactly, just BE HONEST! It's one thing to have every intention of taking certain classes and then having it not work out for scheduling or other reasons, but it's quite another to blatently lie about taking some impressive biochemistry course you think might help your application while you actually have no intention of enrolling.
