take it as you will, but if this story is true, it shows as much lack of integrity as it does tenacity.... you're basically saying, "I put an enormous amount of effort in saving my own while leaving the person that stole my belongings to walk free too continue his crimes.". Ever since you worked so hard to regain your belongings, how many people got theirs stolen?. Sorry man, but you should have called the cops and let them sort it out, and then you would have tenacity and integrity on your side, and personally I think integrity beats tenacity, so again only in my opinion because I could be wrong here, but I don't think it is something that should be talked about in the way you described at least.
