I have a little problem. Due to the lack of interviews and responses I have gotten from schools the cycle, I think I need to retake the DAT. I work long hours and need a way to be able to do practice questions/study during work. I can't use any books unfortunately during work... If I can't figure something out I may have to quit my job..which will undoubtedly cause other problems. Also, any input on audio books for my commute helps.

I am stuck, please help!

You could (if you were to take notes on the material) read those on your phone but I would imagine it would be very difficult. Perhaps a tablet would be a more portable/effective solution?

I wish! I can only use my phone.. Pulling up notes is still not a bad idea though.. Has anyone ever used a note card making app here( for an iPhone).. Anki is great but not sure if that could work on my phone

Hi, I know something that will help a lot.
There's a phone application called Anki. It reviews all sorts of biology (not sure if they have it in other subjects too) that you need to know for the DAT. It is in the form of flashcards and you have to use your phone to study it. When I studied for the DAT I used it as a study material when I was on a bus or waiting in line. It is super helpful and it gives you all the info that the DAT Destroyer questions you on (also a super helpful book). Actually I was able to answer some of the most random bio quesions on the DAT just from having studied these flashcards. They're just way too many so make sure you spend some good time reviewing them. I scored above 20 on the bio section so did pretty well and did most of my bio studying from Anki and the destroyer.

I got them from the DAT Bootcamp. They had an article on how to use the flashcards. Here's a link that will help. Good luck studying and don't quit your job. the test isn't that difficult. You can do it!!

I second that motion. Anki is a great tool, and I've been using it for my undergrad classes ever since

That is awesome thank you so much!! I've used anki on my laptop before but didn't realize you can use it on your phone which is amazing.. I've been told boot camp has some mobile options also

There is an app for iPhone and I think also android called Quizlet that lets you review your own cue cards, and even creates games for you to test yourself. It links up with this website http://quizlet.com/ so you can type the cards online or on your phone and access them on both.

Hope this helps! Good luck 🙂

No problem!
Also, sign up for the DAT question of the day by DAT Bootcamp. I know they post the questions on their facebook page, but they also email it to you.

I'm not sure if you can do the Bootcamp PAT question generator on your phone, but try it. If it works, it is the best way to study for the PAT section and schools are looking for high scores on this section. When I took the DAT the Bootcamp didn't have the generator for all the PAT sections, which sucked because I found it really helpful. So use this resource 😛
