Hi I'm Ploy , im graduating high school in June. I would like to know if it's posible to take only one year of undergraduate, to get the good grades and gpa then get in to a medical course that is 6 years (like in uk)? or are there any other ways that I can at least shorten the amount of times studying? Some schools have joint BS/MD programs. Here's a list of all the schools that offer that option.

Get the best grades you can and if you do well it's definitely a possibility.

In general the people whose goal is to "shorten the amount of time studying" are those for whom a longer course of studying would be more beneficial. This isn't a race. It's a path of lifelong learning. Combined undergrad/ med school paths are not in vogue currently and there tend to be fewer of those paths each year.

You can apply to six-year medical programs in the UK straight out of high school, given that your scores are competitive. However, admission to those programs is very competitive for overseas students. Generally, European schools of medicine grant acceptances to high school students and no undergraduate education is required for admission to those programs. However, as I said, it is extremely difficult to gain admittance as an overseas student (not to mention expensive).

Plus it would make it very difficult to come back to the US for residency.
