DAT finally done today for this first time, NOT happy with my results.
Bio 18
GC 19
OC 18
RC 17
QR 15 ( I KNOWWW 🙁
PAT 15 (TERRIBLEEE
AA 17 and
TS 18

Should I even Apply with a PAT of 15? is it below the cut off? I did not know that the actual PAT exam was SO MUCH HARDER than the kaplan and other full lengths.
If I had time to finish the DAT destroyer i would've scored 20s on sciences and much better if I did all 10 practices on Math destroyer.
My application is ready and my gpa is low as well 3.1
I am SO confused now on what to do with my life. I could retake in march and apply for the next cycle but with my low gpa I don't know what my chances are and I graduated in may so I will be wasting another year, there goes a masters degree!
my mom wants me to take the pcat since its much easier and the pharmacy schools deadline is farther but who would wanna be a pharmacist . but again My main goal is to be in school next year. I can do a one year masters but I was thinking maybe I should do a combined master/phd so YEAH I am pretty much LOST

Well as someone who applied a month ago and already got a rejection because I was too late, I'm going to say you need to retake and worry about next cycle.

I agree with two thirty. I know it totally stinks, but I think everything is working against you right now--the lateness, your scores, and your GPA. Take an extra year. Apply EARLY next June, and you need to retake your DAT in the meantime. There are outstanding resources out there and I'm confident you can increase your score if you put in some solid effort! 🙂 Check out the "la datélisse" thread and read breakdowns of people who scored really well and see if you can take any tips from them. Best of luck, and let me know if I can help with anything!

Take your time and study again for the dat! You can do much better plus there is nothing wrong with taking a year off. You can work, volunteer, do research, take upper division bio classes...... get the following and study for at least 3 months and you will get 20+. It's all about dedication and hard work.

1) dat destroyer
2) math destroyer
3) dat qvault+cliff's notes+Campbell (only as a reference if you don't understand some concepts). Kaplan blue book (bio)
4. Crack the dat pat.
5. Top score
6. Chads videos

Good luck.
