I was talking to my co-worker who plans to attend med schools. He told me that 1 out of 2 applicants get in US med school on average. That's including Canadian applicants without US citizenshp/visa. I was like mmmm.. 🙄 Then It's pretty easier to get in med schools in US than Canada, cuz I know 1 out of 7 applicants actually get in med school here due to VERY limited spots. So, I don't know if my co-worker's statment is true. It would be nice if someone can provide official statistic on this. I can see 1 out of 2 applicants with US citizenship/visa get in US med schools, but if you factor in the Canadians without US citzenship/visam, I don't think the chance is that high... Would Canadians be considered as foregin students ?? 🙄
