Is it +/- to reapply 3 consecutive applicant rounds for MD?

So my situation is to decide whether or not I should be reapply for the third time in a row for schools. The first time I only applied 3 schools and completed near the end of the deadlines since I hadn't decided on med school until the last minute. This (second time) I applied to 15 schools but didn't get a single interview. First time MCAT 28P, second 31Q.

I did start several new activities this Fall (2010) but I'm concerned it will work against me since admissions may be wondering why I started them now and if it looks though as if I am trying to suck up or something. But truth was I needed to find a job before I dedicated myself to new activites.

So the question simply is... is it for better or worse to reapply for a third time in a row to MD schools? Should I take a break year to seem less aggressive?

Thanks very much!

The question isn't about the merits or lack thereof, of a 3rd consecutive application cycle. The question should be, is ur application competitive this time around? Have u plugged the holes from ur prior applications? What improvements have you made from your last application?

This is how ADCOMs will view ur app and you'd be wise to answer these questions for urself b4 reapplying?

This may not be the answer u're looking for, but i think it's important to consider this.
