I have still not turned in my app to aacomas with the fear that I did not do well on the MCAT. I don't want to waste the money or the first time application if I did not do well. I have completed the application and am sitting on it. Can I add schools if I do well on the MCAT? Please, someone send some encouragement. Osteopathic is my only choice, and I don't want to mess my chances of getting in. Thanks for any words of advice!!😕

No, it's not too late to apply. It's best to apply early, but it's definitely not too late.

Yes, you can add schools later if you did well on the MCAT. There's a form on the AACOMAS site for that.

Good luck!

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not too late, but it is late in the process so you need to get your paper work done NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That way they can process your application. Then it is easy to add schools later after your MCAT comes out. They will not have to reprocess your application for the new schools.

Do what I did and apply to just one school first. That way you are in line to be processed which could take a few weeks. And then add additional schools after processing is done. It's cheaper and the investment is less. So, if you're apply to osteo or allo...just apply to one school initially to get the ball rolling while you're waiting for your MCAT. I applied to only one school initially to start the process. I was limited by finances though. I then added other schools when I got more money ahead of me.

not really saving much money because to apply to many schools at ONCE, aacomas gives you a discount.... so per application it costs you less. if you apply to just one school you are charged the very most full amount.

I finally submitted my AACOMAS app today and can visit the pre-DO forum again without feeling delinquent. I also am waiting for MCAT results, but decided to go ahead anyway.
