Is it "too late" to use anki and do I NEED anki?

Hey all,
I am a 2nd yr student, I studied without Anki during my first yr. My question is, is it "too late" to start using anki starting at dedicated? should I be using anki right now and max out reviews? or can I set a limit to how many reviews/news per day from now until dedicated?

It would be too late to start Anki at dedicated.

Start now while you have time and can see the reviews a few times before the exam

Set a limit on new cards, max your reviews (like 9999)
