Ok i am waiting for my last rec. to come in, i already e-submitted my pharmcas application and within this week i should send out my official transcript. I am applying to albany and Mass. college of pharm. Do i have a shot i got a 3.5 cumulative and no pcats(these schools don't require them) and about a year pharm exp.

Did you not take the PCAT? I don't know about Mass., but I can tell you right now that you have no shot with Albany. I think you would need at least a 3.8 for them to even apply. I see people get rejected even with 3.8. But then again, you never really know until I see that rejection or acceptance letter.

I applied to Albany (accelerated) two years ago with that same cumulative and I didn't get accepted. They are extremely competitive and it's even more tough because they ONLY go by GPA... though I think they added an interview this year). But no LoRs and no PCAT scores to boost your app.

I'm also applying again this year to both of those schools you are (and a few more).... so good luck to you!!! Maybe I'll see you somewhere next year.

never give up, there is always hope

Ok, how about time wise is it too late to apply? It seems like everyone already applied lol.

It's not too late. I actually consider it early to apply now. I didn't apply until February.
