Is it true that P/NP classes show up as C's in GPA calculations?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My school required English & Humanities credits, which were P/NP courses for me, and they accepted that. I wouldn't have expected that to work for science courses though.

This rumor makes about as much sense as the one where DOs are forced to wear black scrubs when they practice.

I really want to know where this rumor came from? Some classes are only offered as P/NP....seriously makes zero sense.

Absolutely unadulterated nonsense.

P/F/W's do not impact your GPA in any way.
