I submitted my primary application to 18 schools on July 30th and submitted the secondary application 4 days later. I retook the DAT on July 30 and the scores were sent on August 15th. A good number of schools accepted my unofficial scores. My stats are above the averages of most schools that I applied to. At this point, I received one interview from Nova, but I am only able to schedule a interview in January. Is it unusual that I receive a post-December interview in August? The admission officer told me to wait for others cancellations to reschedule, but I am not sure how likely that is. I am worried because that means only a few spots are left for me in January.
Also, considering the date I submitted my application, when should I expect to receive interviews from schools?

I would reply and say well y'all better move that interview up cause this 1st round draft pick will be taken after December first!

I wouldn't say it is unusual considering Nova has scheduled interviews through that date. I'd say it is uncommon since the vast majority of schools don't schedule interviews that far into the future.

You could receive interviews any time between now and ~March when the cycle starts coming to a close.

Do you know where I will hear about interviews from the majority of schools?

No one can really predict that, you could hear tomorrow or you could hear in February. For the most part, you either get an interview or you don't hear anything until rejection, there isn't really a middle ground.
Thank you for your answer. One more question, do schools at least send your rejections if they don't accept you? Is is possible that you don't hear anything from a school at all?

Yes, you will likely get some sort of notification but that could be in a month or in 8 months (when a school finishes interviewing and you haven't received an interview then it is essentially a rejection), it may be on the portal or through email or snail mail. If you check the current thread, Nova has already sent out some rejections.
