Is it worth taking a spring class in this situation?

I have a 3.59 science GPA and a 3.64 overall GPA after 3 years of undergrad.

I could take a 4 credit science class, get an A or A- and boost me into the 3.6 range. However, I also have to study for my MCAT which I'm taking on June 17 and am behind on. Spring grades woudl be out June 25 and the transcript takes 4-6 weeks to get verified by AMCAS (but my MCAT scores also will take 4 weeks after June 17). Therefore the science class with its 2 3 hour labs in the week would interfere with MCAt studying. Basically Im saying is it more important to focus on getting a really solid MCAT score (35+) than risking getting a lower score but a 3.6x science GPA?

I am really not qualified to give advice; however, from what I have read the MCAT would be way more important than bringing your sGPA up in the 3.6 range from a 3.59. Like I said I could be wrong, but most everyone here says the MCAT is far more important than a couple of .xx (in most situations)

Instead of worrying about how a number will look, try and boost other areas that will likely have a bigger impact on the quality of your application. In your case, this MCAT score will be important so maybe focus on that.
