Hey everyone:

I am reapplying for 2008 since my MCAT was low this year and I didn't get in as a result. I took the June 15th MCAT and am waiting for my scores to be released next wednesday. My plan is that I will submit my primary for both AMCAS (assuming a decent enough MCAT) and AACOMAS the day after and have my transcripts mailed out from my respective attended schools around that time so that everything is received by the end of the following week.

Is this too late for applying? Last year I submitted in the beginning of september and wasn't verified until mid october-ish and still got an interview and in that application cycle I was considered mid-cycle. But with the advent of more MCATs beginning as early as January, will the mid-cycle now be considered July for initial submission of primaries?

Cheers

No.

Looking at the particular schools deadlines will give you a better idea on what is later and early.

send your transcripts now, so you can get verified more quickly.
