Is taking the DAT July 27th too late to get my application completed in a timely manner? Any idea what batch that would put me in?

Talk to your pre-health advisor, but I think end of July is fine. Be sure to apply now though so your application is complete and is only missing your DAT scores. Some schools allow you to fax your unofficial scores to them to complete your file.
