Hi everyone,

Pretty quick question: Is LLU a in-state only school?

I am looking at the Dental Stats 2003-2004 from Busupshot83 and it says N/A for both the number of 'enrolled in-state' and 'enrolled out-of-state'.

Thanks all.

No, it is a private school.

....run by the 7th-day adventist church. They don't really care where you come from, but it helps to be Christian.

Thanks everyone,

USUaggie: Does LLU at some point during the application process ask what your religion or religious beliefs are? Is it a huge strike against you if you are not a Christian?

Thanks.

It's part of the secondary application, they also ask for a LOR from an ecclisiastical leader but some people have had friends or other leaders in their lives write a similar type of "character evaluation" letter. They try to keep a Christian environment there so it might give you somewhat of an edge if you are Christian, but other sdners who aren't have been admitted this cycle. If you look on their website there is a breakdown of last year's incoming students. It's estimated that about 70% of the class is Seventh Day Adventist

Hey thanks USUaggie. Your input is very informative and useful. I will keep this in mind when I apply next cycle.

Well said Aggie
