I'm unsure whether I should pursue masters or just work as a lab tech in case I need to reapply.
If I am doing masters I'm considering Biology or Nutrition science or Pharmaceutical chemistry.
Anyone who had to reapply please advise.
Thank you.

Yes, a 4.0 in an MS in BIO i completed in 9 months on full ride via assistantships got me into a state school other than my own that ended up being cheaper than my own state school and also helped me get a full ride in my residency...for me it was deff worth it

Is the assistantship provided in a form of grant or work-study?

I am glad you brought this up. I forgot all about it. When I was an undergrad I got into a MS in Oral Biology. I decided to defer because I didn't want to take loans out to pay for it. Instead I applied for a grant the following year. Also the following year I applied to Dental School concurrently. I got into dental school also. I was torn between MS In OB and DS. I loved the school the masters was in. I choose to go to DS. I was happy and never looked back... until now lol.

Try applying for a fellowship/grant/scholarship.

Until now? Now you wish you did a masters instead of dental school?
