Hi,

I had my app verified, submitted, and sent out sometime around mid-July. I took the DAT the first week of August and got a 22 AA with a low, but acceptable PAT. My GPA is around a 3.7. The problem is that ADA was soooo slow in sending my scores out, that my application didn't get resent with my score until the last week of August.

Will schools look at my application in the mid-July batch or will I be considered last week of August batch??? I know some schools put your application on hold until they receive the DAT scores, so is there a possibility I will be considered in the mid-July batch?

Thanks.

I am in the same boat, my DAT scores arrived quite late as well. I assume they started reviewing mine when I completed my secondaries and I received emails from schools where I applied stating my application was complete and under review. Most of those emails came in about a week and a half ago or so for me, heard nothing back since. I am not really going to start sweating it until October. If no interviews by the end of the first week, then I will start worrying...

Incomplete applications are usually ignored by adcom, so the fact that your application was first sent out in mid July matters little to the schools. You're in the late august batch.

what about the schools that accepted unofficial fax dat score reports?

Schools that will look at unofficial scores will most likely be ahead of those who don't, assuming you sent them your score report. Regardless, your application is not "late" if it was completed by the end of august.
