I've been around long enough to know that Internet classes in pre-req's are often not acceptable, but it never crossed my mind that it might be an issue for me.
Here's the issue. I took my College Algebra course, which I believe is a pre-req for several schools, via 'Distance Education'. This isn't exactly an Internet class, but rather it involved me watching pre-recorded class sessions, and taking tests through the regular testing service on campus. Do you think this is going to be an issue later on?

I'm not sure if algebra is a requisite. Physics is a required class. and inorder to take that class, you usually need trig.
Have you taken a class higher than algebra?
Check the schools you're interested in to see if they really require a math class. And if so, sometimes they are willing to allow an on line course--maybe once.

I think quite a few schools require it but you would have to check with where you want to go. I would just retake it while its fresh in your mind and you won't have to worry about it later on. My undergrad required calc for a biol degree so I would keep that in mind. If you steer away from tough classes too much the dental schools won't like it and you won't be competitive compared to others. Its not like its biochem or histo. I hope that doesn't sound mean but I took a year of calc and physics with calc & I think it helped separate me from the pack (even though it was tough).
-just my 2 cents
