O Chem 1 (3 credits)
O Chem Lab (1 credit)
Physics 1 (3 credits)
Physics Lab (1 credit)
Genetics (3 credits)
Introduction to Dance (3 credits, easy gen ed)

Would you consider this schedule doable? 👍 or..... in way over my head? 👎

Thanks for any help! 🙂

Depends on how well you have done with multiple sciences in a semester in the past.

Also, allow plenty of time per week for ochem--lots to memorize.

Depends on how hard your school is...

For me, I'd never do a schedule like that.

Three moderately difficult classes at once?

For someone taking Organic 1 and its lab for the first time it may be a bit of a risk to take that schedule. Maybe take away genetics and add it next semester.

Why is it a risk? I'm in a similar situation; taking Orgo 1, Bio 7, and Calc II next semester. Are OP and I screwed? 😱

No need to flex your brain here... for the average person, those classes are really hard.

No you're not screwed. It obviously depends on the person and their skills. But it is not easy by any means, and a lot of hard work will be needed.

doable

At the end of the day, it is 11 credits of class. It should be doable by the average pre-med. It may take harder work for some people, but it certainly is not an unreasonable load.

I think you meant 15?

#1 I have no idea how you can add up any of those and get 15 credits.
#2 Even 14 credits would be considered a light course load from a credit perspective (At Wash U, you couldn't graduate averaging 14 credits a semester)
#3 I do not consider "Introduction to Dance" to be a true course, I would consider it the equivalent of an EC as far as time and energy.
