Just took the DAT and honestly there is no good resource on finding if my raw score is competitive or not. sGPA and GPA are on the low end but my last 30hrs of science classes are 4.0.

dude just take your chances and apply. remember that gpa and DAT scores aren't everything to the adcoms.... they DO look at your full application if you apply early...

i think you should apply to a few schools if app costs are of concern. if not, why not take your chances? if so... why not still take your chances..??

Listen stop listening to people on SDN! No one here can tell you! They are all student like yourself and like me so they cannot tell you anything that will going to determine if you are going to get accept or not! My friend had 2.9 GPA and he got accept to dental school! GPA is not everything! I seen people with 4.00 GPA and they don't get accept it! Put all negativity to the side apply and you will make it! Stop listening to people on SDN! They are not admission officer nor they have prior experience to tell you! Until you don't apply you won't know! [emoji4]just saying!

It's really up to you what you want. You DAT scores are average to above but your GPA is below. Consider your whole application and what schools you want to apply to. If you want to give it a go after that what I would do is call the admissions for the schools you want to apply to and ask if you are a competitive candidate. They are typically really nice about at least letting you know that. Good Luck!!

Congratulations on these great scores. I mean you didn't even get something below 20, so you should be proud of yourself and celebrate this accomplishment.

If this is not your last semester and you still have time to graduate, you can improve your gpa! By the way congratulations on the 4.00 for the last 30 credits (awesome job and they will appreciate that).

If you have already graduated, you can still take some post-grad courses to boast your GPA.

But in either case, if you can afford it, apply now and hopefully you will get accepted. (choose your schools wisely)
Meanwhile, keep on improving your gpa and do more volunteering and stuff( in your free time) because you never know if you have to apply again or not!

PS: just make sure you save the LOR in interfolio just in case you needed to use them for next year.

You can do it, Best of luck!

Congratulations! Very nice scores and I love the consistency. These scores show you put in a lot of hard work. I do agree your GPA is on the lower side but with a very strong application and personal statement you should get interviews. My best advice is to apply to schools that you have the best opportunity for acceptance. You can even contact the school directly with your stats.

Wishing you the best..Nancy

Excellent advice!

Don't be discouraged by people on here. GPA isn't everything when it comes to your application. Mine is worse, with a slightly higher DAT. I was accepted to 3 schools and waitlisted at 1. Just make your application stand out, rock the interviews and cast a wide net on schools. Good luck!
