is my TS score wrong?

i thought TS is the average of all your science
bio + ochem + gchem
i got 20 bio, 26 ochem and 18 gchem and yet my TS = 20

if my TS is 20 and my RC is 20 and my QR is 19 how is my AA 21?! that doesnt make sense unless my TS = 22

i think im going to call ADA

No need to call the ADA. The TS score isn't the average of all your science sections.

Yup, TS is a scaled score not average of your science. Most likely your GChem errors brought down your TS more than you would've liked.

Still very impressive AA though, so no need to worry.

Yeah, just confirming the above as well.

On my score report, it says that TS is based on all 100 SNS questions. Not the average.

AA = 20 + 26 + 18 + 20 + 19 / 5 = 20.6 rounds up to 21.

In addition to the above, I think the reason that your AA is so high is because it DOES average out each of the sciences sections individually (not the total science score) along with the QR and RC.

don't call the ADA because the first thing they are going to ask you is how did you get 19 in QR section when you can't even add...then you'll be in trouble😀

BTW, don't worry about your score too much...scores don't matter much...i know people who blow you away with their DAT score and didn't get in anywhere...

just messing with you...have some sense of humor, oh maybe they should add that section to DAT (humor ability test, HAT)...haha

just remember, in the future, if you become a dentist, your customers will not ask you about your DAT score...10% will care where yoiu graduated from and the rest want to have a plesant experience in your office, so go practice some humor, chilllll and finally RELAX...😀

lol...its not about patients right now...its about admission! & I am sure they care about DAT alot more than you do. So please cut this crap!

jdmsamurai, I understand you are worried about your scores. I will agree with other people about not calling ADA. Your scores look fine to me! If this still does not satisfy you then by all means call ADA. Its your decision. Good job those are nice scores!
