I signed up to take the MCAT May 23rd and I will have only one month to do practice problems and FLs after I am done with content review. I want to postpone for the end of June or the beginning of July but I cant not find a spot in south Florida. Is one month enouth to do practice problems and FLs since I can only study from Monday thru Friday (4-5 hours/day)? I am using TBR for the science sections and I am scoring about 70% in gen chem and physics, 75% in Ochem, 50+% biology and about 55% in TPR verbal. My goal is to get 28+. Should I postone it even for August so I can have enough time to do more practice problems and work in my VR?

I'd recommend taking a full length at this point to see where you're at. I think after that you'll know how much you need to improve. If you're close to your goal, then 1 month with be enough. 🙂

Good idea...I will take a FL at the end of this month and if I score 26+, I won't postpone then.

I think 5-6 weeks is ideal, but 4 months can work as long as it's your only focus. And you'll be logging some long days to pull this off.

Why do you feel you need to complete your content review before taking your first exam? I would dare to say it would actually be better to take your first practice FL before you complete your review, to see how you deal with material that feels unfamiliar. There will be plenty of time for exams after your review is complete. You can gain a great deal from taking one when you are two-thirds reviewed. Don't take the score seriously at first (which is REALLY hard not to) and analyze how well you used your time and how well you were able to recall the concepts and information you needed and integrate it into the information gleened from the passage.

This. Take your best stab at the topics you haven't covered, and pay special attention to the questions you're missing that refer to content you've already reviewed - those are topics you'll want to go through again once you've made your initial pass through all the topics.
Don't worry too much about your scores at first, but it's also gratifying to see the numbers go up as you review more topics

I think it probably depends on what you mean by "content review". If you've only been reading and haven't done tons of timed practice problems at this point, you should consider postponing. If you are only now starting to do problems, you will probably find that you don't know the material as well as you think you do.

If you've been doing problems all along, then you're probably in decent shape.

I dont know if youll be able to get through all the practice problems and full length tests in only 4 weeks.

1.5-2 months would be ideal

I am following the 4-month SN2D schedule with some variations. I do practice problems for every chapter I have covered so far.

1 month will be perfectly enough. You just need to dedicate yourself to practicing really really hard. I don't think anyone is really ever ready for this exam, i mean you could always practice a little more. Either way, i'm going to have about a month of straight FL's and practice for my exam which is before yours so i'll let you know how it goes.
