Who did you here that from? was this person by chance in grade 11? Look it up for yourself, you'll find it has college chem, bio, and math. Much of this is covered in AP high school classes, so maybe if you were in all AP courses. However, I highly doubt an high schools teach organic chemistry to the detail that it is taught at the university.
No. If you took calculus in high school then the math is high-school level, and the reading/vocab isn't more difficult than the SATs in my opinion, but the bio and chem is much harder. I did use an AP chem book to study for the chemistry section, and it was very helpful, but it didn't really cover organic at all - organic chem is definitely a college class.

Hi,
I heard somewhere that PCAT is simply highschool stuff( Grade 11 and Grade 12), the only difficulty is it will cover a lot of materials. Is that true?😕
Is it simply high school stuff? No, as the other posters have mentioned. But you'll need to build on everything you learned in high school in order to do well on the PCAT. In HS math, for example, you cover algebra, pre-calculus, trig, and maybe calculus, which are all tested on the PCAT. In HS chemistry and biology, you probably don't go into as much detail as a college class will, but high school is a great time to lay the foundations you'll need to know in order to be prepared to focus on details later in college. And for the English sections-- I don't know about your school, but my HS English classes required a ton of reading and writing, and grades 9 and 10 involved twenty-word vocabulary lists on a weekly basis. Preparing in your HS classes before getting to college will give you a boost, but you'll probably want to take the college-level classes before attempting the PCAT.
Note: I wrote that thinking of US students, but I noticed in another post that you are from China. (Right?) I don't know how the curriculum there compares to the one here, so maybe you do learn all this in high school. You could take a practice test or two to get a feel for whether or not you know the information being tested.
good answer parabolic.
I'd say 67% of the questions that are on pcat, there is a one straight forward answer to them that should jump at you if paid attention in classes. I mean 30 mins is not a lot considering sections are 48 questions long.

Nope, college level stuff. However, if you go to a ranked high school and an AP/IB program, you might be able to pull off a good score. But for the majority of high schools, no, you'll want to complete college level courses.

Well, not even IB teaches you about the organic chemistry tested on the PCAT (though I just took IB Chem SL, my HL friends also didn't know carbonyl reactions and such)
Organic chemistry class is needed to get high on the chem section.
ah yes forgot about organic.
The only sections that I think my HS prepared me for were: anatomy/physiology, chemistry, verbal/reading comp.
all the general bio stuff i picked up in college, same with ochem.
I guess if you're really smart and study the material well right out of high school, then you'll do fine. But most, if not all, high school students reading this are neither smart nor savvy enough to do this.
Bottom line: complete general, organic and lower division biology before attempting the pcat.
