I am trying to decide between taking an easy to schedule but poorly taught physics II class at my university, or an overall better physics II class at another university (but it will cost me extra $). Do you I need to be prepared for physics in dental school - is it a class or is it used in dental school?

I am pretty sure that having a solid physics foundation will help you with radiology. But honestly physics II is mainly stuff like mirrors, lenses, light, and circuit stuff so I don't think its that important.

isn't radiology stuff like "mirrors, lenses, light and circuit stuff"?

Physics is extremely important to dentistry in many ways, but realistically the "better" undergrad Physics II course is not going to be helpful.

It won't help you in a real significant way, I'd recommend taking the class you think you can get the better grade in. It does help to understand some basics however, such as directional forces and vectors, but it's not something that a quick refresher won't help you understand.
