We have so many bottles. So, so many. Like maybe my pharmacy is responsible for the shortage. Sorry everyone else who wanted any, we have all the bottles.

Also, is there an easier way of compounding this into a suspension. This soaking in alcohol prior to crushing is such a pain in the ass.
The docs are thinking it might help prevent people from entering ARDS/hypoxia and requiring a vent. But from what I've seen, if you are obese, have prior respiratory issues, or a smoker, you are probably gonna end up on a vent.
I've noticed the people admitted who are just on Oxygen and plaquenil and lovenox are getting discharged after a few days. The people with other issues are ending up requiring rapid responses and intubation/sedation and transfers to ICU, everyone is being given plaquenil 400 mg bid x 1 day, and 200 mg bid x 4 days and Azithro 500 x 1 day, then Azithro 250 x 4 days.
I feel like it doesn't make a difference if you have other conditions. Only way to know for sure is split the patients up into placebo vs combo groups.
We have so far 100 covid positive patients, 40 requiring vents. They are discharging those who are seeing O2 stats and respiratory function improve in 3-4 days.

The key here is simple. Until we have good clinical trials we are grasping at straws. A very high percentage of patients recover on their own. There was another study released in the last day or so that was as well constructed as the French study. Yes it showed people getting better sooner but was it the drugs or would they have gotten better on their own. Need more data, My opinion still stands. If I was infected I would do the combo. Very little to lose.
