Is Q bank too hard?

🙂 Hi, everyone,
I am doind the kaplan q bank, but I think that is harder than the real exams.
I mean, the released exams seems to be easier than the q bank questions.

Sometimes I think that is a good thing because knowing the dificult questions ,you will be prepared to do the easy ones.... However, sometimes I think I can be wasting my time....

Does anyone agree with me?

I havnt taken the Q bank yet so I cant answer ur question...but I do have a question to ask u..Does the Q bank contain a total of 1000 questions(all subjects) or does it contain 1000 questions per subject?If it has a total of 1000 questions then it can be done in 10-15 days right?

There are 1000 Qs in total. I am sure you can breeze through 1000 Qs in 10-15 days. But correctly answering them, learning incorrect answers and then assimilate will certainly take more than 10-15 days! Best thing is to try it for yourself and see how do you get on.

I don't think you are wasting your time...You will know once you take Part 1!

Some of them are as hard as you get in exam some of them are harder. Really depends on your basic knowledge and understanding of the subject and of course your past learning experience (which country, which school etc). I had lots of questions on U+L limbs and also on organogenesis. A number of them could be answered because I solved those 1000 Qs. A numbered of them were way too difficult. If you score around 50-60% you should not despair!

I felt Q-Bank was MUCH more difficult than the actual exam. My overall impression was that Kaplan merely took the USMLE exam questions and called them NBDE questions.

The only section I felt was really viable was the Dental Anatomy section (since they obviously couldn't steal that from the USMLE!).

ragarding kaplan q bank its true wat its gavinc said. i personally feel that not to stress on it too much. and waste our time. thats wat most of my frds said .
just do it for once for the sake of exam felling and leave it
