I was always under the impression that Ross was IMG, but one of my friend told me that Ross is stampped as US/Miami school... is this correct? Thanks 😕

Not correct.Ross is considered an "IMG school",like other caribbean schools it has clinical rotations in the US and in Ross's case a special course in Miami. It is not considered a US or Florida med school, but similar to others in the caribbean as far as its status.
Thanks, I will be sure to tell my friend that he is miss informed. I thought it was to good to be true.

Ross is definitely an IMG school, lots of schools have administrative office or clinical rotations in the states, but they are still IMG schools. Ross has administrative offices in NJ, SGU has them in Long Island NY, and both of them have rotations in the states, actually at multiple locations in the states.
I also know that many other carib schools also have rotations in the states.
A "US school" must be accredited by the LCME, and among their many requirements, the school must physically be located in the 50 US states, Canada or Puerto Rico.... So the only "US" Carib schools are the three PR-schools...
