I have been wearing the same set of clothes the past 4 years and I wanted to treat myself to a new wardrobe before school starts.

Should I even bother though since scrubs is mostly what I'll be wearing next year and save the money instead?

I don't think you're forced to wear scrubs to class/lab. Clinic is a totally different story.

Depends on the school. Some require scrubs worn at all classes/labs/clinics since they are all in the same building as the patients you will be seeing and want you to look professional. Others said they require either scrubs or professional clothing to all classes for the same reason.

Depends on the school. Some schools want you to pretty much always wear scrubs during your preclinical years. Others only want you to wear scrubs during lab or if you're spending a couple hours in clinic or something like that. You, of course, will have to wear scrubs in your clinical years.

It depends on the school. Temple requires students to wear ceil blue every day for four years. No thankyou. Case has each class vote on their class color. The administration offers each incoming class 4 colors which they then vote on. However, three of the colors are usually exceedingly ugly, leaving one decent color which the students end up picking anyways.

Where I go, they say that the dress code is business casual or scrubs, but this doesn't stay enforced for long. Most students wear scrub bottoms and a t shirt because we are all lazy.

Depends on the school. For Midwestern at Arizona, you have the option of wearing scrubs or business casual

Depends on the school. We are required to have our burgundy (color depends on the class) scrubs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday according to our next steps guide.

Creighton is shirt, tie and slacks for men, and business attire for ladies. Nice tradition and professional looking but will require some basic wardrobe investment. Not sure if they ever wear scrubs but they do wear white coat during clinic.

Oof I'd hate wearing business casual everyday tbh.
