Question: Is sending AP score to UCSF necessary if my undergraduate institution recognized it on the transcript as a course from which I received credits?
Question (detailed version): I was placed out of Gen Chem because of my AP Chemistry, and I am only 1 semester credit short from the 8 credits gen chem prerequisite, so I do need to count the credits from AP 😕. UCSF allows students to use AP to fulfill prerequisites partially, but students are required send official AP score to the school. Now I have my AP chemistry recognized on my transcript as chem 130 ( gen chem) that I got credits (as proof that my AP chemistry score was at least 4, while UCSF takes 3-5 as pass for prerequisite), do I still need to deal with sending AP score?
