I would appreciate it if someone could answer a couple of questions that have been on my mind. If a DO student takes both USMLE and COMLEX and passes both, but does much better on the USMLE, can he/she withhold the COMLEX score and just apply to the allopathic residency programs with the USMLE score. Also is the USMLE step 2 required for being accepted into residency programs.
