hello,
I was thinking of taking my DAT in early or mid August after two months of studying...but then i'm afraid it's too late. (i will send my AADSAS application early-mid June). i feel many people already have their scores in by June. at the same time, i want to be fully prepared before i go in. does anyone know when the schools start looking at applications and accepting people? is an August DAT too late? they say it takes 3-4 weeks for the scores to reach AADSAS. your advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Well the sooner you take it the better chance you're gonna have of course, but I really don't think taking the test in August will hurt you! But don't take it late August since the interviews normally begin early to mid September!

some people say your application is considered complete if you fax the schools your DAT unofficial scores right after you take the test...so they have something until the official ones arrive. is this true? would schools invite your for an interview with unofficial scores?

To be honest, I'm not so sure about that! But I do know you can fax it for sure, but whether that will expedite your application process or not, I don't know!
