Is taking the exam on August 22nd too late?? I feel like I am not ready and I really want to do well!! any suggestions?

I had asked my advisor about that...she said to submit the application in July then have your DAT scores at the latest in August, September is might be too late.

That said, I think that Aug 22nd is still OK.

i haven't submitted my app yet, am i screwed?????? I thought it didnt matter since i didn't have my dat done yet and it takes a few weeks for them to get it anyway so i was gonna do it all after my dat (aug 15th)

if you feel confident that they extra time will improve your score in ANY way, then yes take the extra time...interviews for most schools go into january don't worry too much about getting it in SO early.

early apps are the cherry ontop of a good GPA/DAT score 🙂

I dunno its very misleading to think its ok. I still don't know for sure, but the thing is I took my exam on july 14th and aadsas is barely going to send out scores this friday on august 6th. Even more the schools dont receive the scores until 3 more weeks... Dunno how much this affects chances but don't think that when you take it the schools will automatically get your scores. On a good note however, alot of the schools I have applied too still haven't started on their applications such as USC and Western. I've only gotten request for secondaries from LLU and UCLA so they are the only ones who seem on top of their game.

I actually called a couple of schools since I am retaking the test on Aug 26. And they said anything before Sept is fine.
