Is the AACOMAS app timeline similar to AMCAS?

They both open at the start of May but does AACOMAS wait until the end of may to start verifying apps like AMCAS and then submit them to schools at the end of june?

There is less of a backlog for verifying apps and the schools get the app immediately from AACOMAS afterwards. Some put their secondary questions in the primary itself because AACOMAS has that feature. Otherwise, it is up to when the school wants to start sending out secondaries. Submitting in May vs July for DO schools would likely have no noticeable effect.
