Is the ADA’s practice DAT worth taking before actual DAT?

I know to some it may seem like a waste of money but factoring finances out; Is the ADA’s $100 practice DAT worth doing before taking the actual DAT? If so,

How long after taking the ADA’s practice exam did you take the actual DAT?

was it similar to the practice exam?

was it worth doing or are the practice exams on BC/DD (etc) good enough?

One huge plus is they were written by the DAT test developers. But then again I am not a huge fan of timed test and I have stated many times you need to know the concepts, etc. No company, including the ADA can accurately predict a score with pinpoint accuracy.

Take the 2007 DAT, it's free, a week before your actually test. It is a great confidence booster! Yes, easier but it is still a great practice. You will have more confidence on your actual Dat because of it and confidence is priceless. I only used the bio chem ochem and qr sections under timed testing conditions.
