then why the hell is everyone on this site gettung over 240. For every person getting less than a 210, 500 people here get a 259/99

I agree man...it seems a little suspect to me. Same with the comlex scores of >700. Either everyone on this site is smart as hell, or they are full of S**T

You are probably 10X more likely to report your score if it's better than the mean. Nobody with poor scores wants to take a chance of their score getting out to people they know. I know most of my buddies screen names in here 😉

lots of the people on here have been busting out trying to do well on step II. Most of the people in my class who are satisfied with Step I and do not want to report Step II will probably take it in the Spring and read Crush 2 maybe once or twice over a week to two week period. that's it. these are the people that score about 200 to bring down the avg.

Ive seen maybe 4 COMLEX scores over 700 so far, and about 10 USMLE scores over 255. I dont think that qualifies as everybody.

Even those of us who decently beat the mean but don't have spectacular scores aren't posting the particulars. This is all very self-selective, so not representative. Nobody should let it get to them. 🙂
