More likely than not, you were lucky. Faced with 30 applicants to review, or 300, or even 3000 someone will be first and someone will be last. There isn't always time to sort and choose. Like eating an elephant, you just take one bite at a time. And maybe you got assigned to someone who cranked things out quickly while a less lucky person had their file assigned to someone who got behind due to a personal situation, or a grant deadline, or any number of things.
You can't read anything into it.
There was a time when some applicants would be prioritized as they were considered highly sought after and you wanted to interview them before they got an offer in October and decided not to attend any more interviews (it was an expensive process when all interviews were in person and required an overnight stay in many circumstances). The current administration has put universities on notice that such a process is illegal and schools, I think, will steer clear of anything like that even though it, in the end, didn't change who would ultimately be admitted.
