Is there a Deadline for Secondary Application?

I e-submitted my AADSAS application about a week ago, and I received an email from BU with regard to submitting application fee and Secondary application. The thing is I am going to take DAT very soon, and I am really bad at writing "why letters". I was wondering if there is a deadline for submitting secondary application (I couldn't find any info about this) and whether to submit my secondary application now or after I take the DAT. Secondary application deadlines all depend on the school. If you look at each school's website, you should be able to find out the dates you must submit by. Obviously, the sooner the better with schools due to rolling admissions

Some schools will specify "within 7 days" or just tell you before a certain date. Boston didn't specify a date. So you're fine.

Wait, you didn't take your DAT and applied, and got secondary app materials? I thought they didn't consider your app w/o DAT scores?

They explained this in the email.

"We have received your application from the Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). Regardless of transcript verification or "mailed" status, we inform applicants about the Boston University DMD supplemental application as early as possible to allow you time to submit it. All completed applications will be reviewed; we look forward to reviewing your application."
