In the ADEA Guide, every school lists where matriculating students are from. You can pinpoint pipeline states pretty easily that way.

One's that I remember from my own research are Marquette (surrounding states are favored), Minnesota (part of some sort of agreement), that new New England place (specific for region), Iowa ( i thought I read this somewhere), and I'm pretty sure a few others, I'm a little out of the loop its been over a year now for me.
