just wondering as today I saw Complex II in ETC on the inner membrane... I am assuming its correct now because I've looked it up and it seems that it exists. For some reason at the school I am at they state that there is only complex I, III, IV and ATP synthase. So this led me to wondering if there was a list of errors available. Thanks!!!😀

yes, complex II exists. some places don't go over it since it does not process NADH from the kreb cycle.

i believe there is a error in the CAM/C4 photosynthesis as well, which require NADH+H to synthesize Malate from OAA

yup, it exists alright. NADH is used in the ETC at complex I which feeds electrons going to complex III through CoQ. FADH2 feeds electrons into complex II, which then get passed onto complex III.

When dealing with NADH only, there's no use for complex II, but it's there for the weaker reducing stepchild, FADH2
