I am curious...
Is there a pre-med checklist to use as a guideline? Possibly, something that provides the best time to begin shadowing, take mcat, apply for loans, send apps...

I could really use something like it to prevent any "I wish someone would have told me that," issues.

A guide by other students that have been through it would be great, as they might point out some things to watch for.

Any ideas?

They have a timeline in the beginning of the MSAR. There is also a timeline in a lot of the popular getting into med school books. Princeton review puts out a good one.

Check out the 2007 Applicant FAQ that we're compiling as well.
